Toothbrush from Amazon seller- any rights

Hi folks,
I bought an electric toothbrush from Amazon about 10 months ago, It was an Amazon seller.
While initially very happy with it, as the charge lasted a month or so, now I have re-charge it every 3-4 days at most, so not really happy with this.
I believe the return window has closed last June, and it seems the seller doesn't bother to respond to other users who have complained.
Is there any point in contacting Amazon? I do know they will refund as they have done with myself if you buy from Amazon directly, but it seems with items supplied by sellers shops its a totally different ball game.
Any point in phoning Amazon or a waste of time.
Many thanks for any advice.

What type of toothbrush is it? One month seems remarkably long compared to mine which is weekly.0

Lose nothing by raising it.
My Phillips sonicare needs charging every 3-4 weeks and is 5 years old.
One of the kids oral B cheap brush needs charging every 7-10 days and always has.
Guess it depends on what it said on the tin compared to its performance0 -
I don't see the problem.
I recharge my toothbrush more or less every second day.

I find that frequency of charging tends to increase as the toothbrush ages.
I've had a succession of standard Oral B brushes - when new they need charging a little less than once a week. I replace them when I need to charge them roughly daily in order to be able to brush twice a day - that takes about 6 years.
I tend to start looking for a good deal on a replacement when I need to charge every two days.0 -
All the oral b brushes I have had need charging about every 3 weeks or so. Even when 5 to 6 years old they still last a couple of weeks0

My Philips Sonicare was 6 years old, and I bought a more modern one last September, it did say needs recharging every 2 weeks. And yes, it does.

Thanks for replies, Yes I had a Philips sonic brush as well, lasted for five years or so, was brilliant at holding the charge, at least for a month or maybe more.
I then bought a Philips 3100, which eventually needed charging weekly or less.
Amazon did replace it for my current brush as below, supposed to hold charge for 30 days, but only held that charge once., Now needs charging every three or four days, and suddenly goes dead until charged again.

I just feel the makers are putting inferior batteries into these brushes compared to the original Philips I had.
So I am looking for another spare brush now if you know a good brand, for under £40, if you have had one that proves its worth,
Many thanks.0
