When should I pay my credit card to avoid interest?

  • If you have a current account with the same bank you should be able to settle the balance by a quick online internal transfer very close to the due by date.
I can pay in funds to my credit card by such a transfer and it is actioned quickly.
It may vary from bank to bank of course, but worth trying with a quick trial pay in of say £10 to see how soon the card balance is reduced.
