When should I pay my credit card to avoid interest?

It's so difficult to find answer to this. My question is: Should I pay my credit card by the due date or statement date, to avoid monthly interest? I'm not talking about late payment fee. I heard if I pay my cc in full each month about 2 days (or earlier) before the ... date, they won't charge me interest. Which ... date…

If you have a current account with the same bank you should be able to settle the balance by a quick online internal transfer very close to the due by date.
I can pay in funds to my credit card by such a transfer and it is actioned quickly.
It may vary from bank to bank of course, but worth trying with a quick trial pay in of say £10 to see how soon the card balance is reduced.
