Not sure why you created this as a poll ......Anyhow, unplug the machine, take the top cover off and have a look. Very often the concrete blocks are just bolted onto the drum, it might just be a case of tightening up the nuts. But once you've got the top cover off, it's likely to be fairly obvious what the problem is, and whether it's a simple DIY fix.0

As above - have a look at least first

Depends on how much damage has been done. If you catch it early it's just a matter of tightening the bolts. If it's been rattling around for a while it could have broken bits off the drum or done other damage.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I'm going to start a poll as to whether you knew a washing machine has concrete blocks as I had not idea. Learn something every day on here!0

Yep, that's why they're so bloomin' heavy. It's also why they're shipped with transit bolts, to stop the drum with half a ton of concrete on top rattling around all over the shop and damaging the suspension or whatever. For the same reason, you're supposed to refit the transit bolts if you move it (as in moving house - shuffling it a few feet across the kitchen floor won't hurt).1
