Ocean Parking

Hi guys,
A friend of mine received three tickets for parking without a permit. It’s a car park with a shared entrance for a sports centre / cash and carry. He parked on the sports centre side and has parked there for years but a group of them received a number of tickets in the post.

He is trying to contact the landowner and has sent the template appeal from the newbies forum. Ocean have responded with a copy of the alleged signage and directed him to their website to view any further images.
He has also requested a SAR.
Am I correct in thinking he has done everything he needs to and to await a potential letter before claim / claims letter?

I made it to court on a previous parking without permit case and judge ruled I was not a permit holder so would not be bound by the T&Cs. Will see how this one plays out.
Copy of letter and signage attached.

Once an IPC AOS member rejects a PCN appeal, a Letter of Claim followed by a possible court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL is the future, until then its ignore the debt collectors letters2

But tell your friend and his mates three important things:
1. Ocean Parking are not litigious.
2. No getting scared by £170 threatograms.
3. If they move house within 6 years, they MUST tell Ocean and their debt crawlers, because every letter must be seen just in case they change the habit of a lifetime.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
