I'm having a problem on my desktop where I try to sign into certain websites e.g. e-bay,that my cookies are'nt enabled.When I check my internet options and the privacy tab it says my cookies are enabled.If I run http://www.tempesttech.com/cookies/cookietest1.asp it says my cookies are,nt enabled.I'm stumped does any one have any ideas to what it could be.

Chuckles may well be right - IIRC if you set the security level of your "Internet Zone" above a certain level then cookies don't work. I used to find that the easiest way round was just to add ebay.co.uk (or whatever) to your "trusted sites" list.
From memory (I don't use IE now) you right-click/double-click on the globe symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, then click the "Internet Zone" symbol and then paste the main part of the web site name (between the double slash and the next slash) into the "trusted sites" box and click "Add". Make sure you don't have the "Require HTTPS" box ticked.
[Oops - just realised you asked about IE7, and the above applies to IE6. Perhaps someone with IE7 can say how to achieve the same...]0 -
