Hi all
We are currently on our cruise and due to the weather we are not able to go to the planned port. We are remaining in the current port. I went on the online chat with insurance and they said I would be able to claim and to do so go via another party. I asked them how much I would be able to claim.on itinerary change as it is up to £500 per person but they did not answer me. When I have looked at the claim form it is asking me how much I want to claim on it. I haven't claimed on insurance before. We also have a letter stamped and signed by the captain too.
What should I say for the claim. Also would it be best to wait until we get home in case there's other missed ports?

just looked at my policy - Staysure with Cruise add-on
It states
"We will pay up to £75 for each port listed on your cruise itinerary that is missed due to adverse weather or timetable changes up to £500."
worth checking your policy...how much you are wanting to claim will depend on the number of missed ports and the amount paid per missed port.0 -
Wait until the end of the cruise as you may miss other ports. You will need confirmation from the ship that a port was missed. Guest relations should provide a missed port confirmation letter.2

Also note the £75 may be wiped out by any excess.0
