New Furness Savings Account 4.9%

I saw and advert in the Daily Express a few days ago for a new double access Furness Building Society savings account offering 4.9%. I saw it on the Furness site the other day but now when I check their saving accounts the top one is a One Year Regular Saver offering 4.75%. There are also no details of the account on listed on this site under Top Savings Accounts.
Am I missing something, or have the sites just not been updated?

It's only available via their app.
So they announced this market-leading 4.9% account on 5/11, the expected base rate reduction happens on 7/11 and they pull the account (not just reduce the rate).
Pretty cynical mwarketing project, but at least it got them some coverage in the Daily Express.

The furness christmas saver is v generous, 6% this year, 500 pcm, actually matures 12 months later. Should be avail again in Jan 25.
