hi all can anyone advice, my BG heating sys inc rads homecover is about to run out, i enjoy being with these because of there larger network of staff that will come out for a repair within 48hrs 
my current cover i got on blackfriday lastyear at £165 for the year, this renewal is £235, so ive been on live chat and offered it for £195, i asked if they would match my current year and i would pay cash up front, i was refused point blank straightaway, and the chat ended there more or less
will they come back and offer me a new offer, or wait about for the new black friday deal
or just bite the bullet pay for a indy service and hope i dont get a breakdown, or pay BG the 195

ive decided to get a independent family ran company out that is also worcester bosh approved to do a service £50
with BG its 195 subtract 50 for the service thats 145 plus IF i call them out a £60 excess thats £205
IF i do have a breakdown and its too cold i will get a fan hearter run it til i get a engineer out for a few days i hope at worst
so its good bye british gas and touch wood i dont have a cold winter

today my cover ran out with BG and ive now had a missed call off them
i'm due to get the system serviced next week by a independent company 
lets see if BG get back to me but any offer would have to be far less than what i'm paying this year as i have very little intensions having this cover
