Future Travel - Insurance?

Didn't want to hijack a similar question thread as that one is about annual insurance.
My query is if u have TI as part of your bank account benefits and u are paying a monthly account fee for those benefits... does that cover future holidays u have booked (assuming of course that u still have the account and paying).... or does that type of deal typically only cover the dates of the trip itself?
ie if I book now for 2026 onwards is the cover likely to cover from now? 🤔

i'd guess almost definitely not. It will still be an annual policy, with the start date as the day the account opens and the renewal every 12 months from them

Ultimately read your policybook... different banks handle things slightly differently in terms of if it's a continuous policy or annual with standard renewal or annual with personal renewal. In principle you'd expect most to give continuous cover and you would need the insurance to be in force at the date the event happens that means you will have need to claim.
