Going to need a lot more detail then that if your looking for meaningful advice.
Firstly you'll need to explain why you believe they have been over charging you for four years.
What do you mean by chaging the projections of your bills? Do you mean the direct debit amount? Why do you believe that is fraud?

    Welcome to the forum.
Are you on the Priority Services Register?  You can sign up online if you prefer not to call them.
You may also wish to consider paying by Monthly Variable Direct Debit.  You pay only for the energy you've used each month (plus standing charges) but you have to phone them, it can't be done online.  Of course, it means lower bills in summer but higher bills in winter.
  • Monthly Variable DD can indeed be very helpful for someone who is good at budgeting and has all their financial "ducks in a row" as it were. It isn't a good option for someone who doesn't tick those boxes though, as it can leave you struggling to pay bills in the heavier use winter months.

First step - what is your actual annual use on both electricity and gas (assuming you have both) - not what Octopus estimate, but your actual use, worked out from meter  readings 12 months apart.

Do you have smart meters currently?
