Old speeding notice 4 month 1 day letter

Just received a speeding notice 4 months and 1 day after the alleged offence.
Is this still valid?
It’s a personal vehicle and never been company owned and i’ve lived here and register it here for years.
It says it’s from a manned speed camera in a roadworks.
I’ve got no points after 30 years of driving so not used to this…

This is not a leased vehicle is it?If it’s not have you checked your V5C to make sure there is no error on your address?1

I would suggest that you post your query over on the FTLA parking forum website after reading their posting requirements first, that is the place to obtain answers1

OP must respond to the S.172 request (if that is what it is) regardless of timings, as such a notice is always "valid". They can go into the ins and outs of late NIP separately.3
