Old speeding notice 4 month 1 day letter

Just received a speeding notice 4 months and 1 day after the alleged offence.
Is this still valid?
It’s a personal vehicle and never been company owned and i’ve lived here and register it here for years.
It says it’s from a manned speed camera in a roadworks.
I’ve got no points after 30 years of driving so not used to this…

  • This is not a leased vehicle is it?

If it’s not have you checked your V5C to make sure there is no error on your address?

I would suggest that you post your query over on the FTLA parking forum website after reading their posting requirements first, that is the place to obtain answers

I think you mean their Speeding and other criminal offences forum.

OP must respond to the S.172 request (if that is what it is) regardless of timings, as such a notice is always "valid". They can go into the ins and outs of late NIP separately.
