OK put that in your defence. I wrote exact wording for you there.  As long as you were not driving then it is all true, and you can't be held liable.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Issue date on the claim was 15th of October.
I am going to assume you filed an Acknowledgment of Service sometime after 18th October and before 3rd November. Please confirm that you did file an Acknowledgment of Service within that timeframe.

With a Claim Issue Date of 15th October, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 18th November 2024 to file a Defence.

That's just a few days away.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

Then I am of the opinion that your Defence filing deadline was eight minutes ago - at 4pm on Thursday 14th November.

Others think differently, but to avoid a Default Judgment against you, my suggestion is that you file a Defence at your earliest opportunity.
