Hi
Probably a stupid question but what happens if you try to use the Barclays rainy day saver after cancelling blue rewards. I've been advised the account will convert to a normal saver in Jan.
Cheers

If you're asking what happens during the period prior to conversion to the normal saver, then their notification about the conversion should have explained any change, i.e. if it's silent on the subject then it'll presumably continue as before until then?2

Yeh that's what I was wondering but seems odd they would allow you to keep taking advantage of the special rate until then.

I've used the account up to the conversion date, got interest and reduced balance to zero.sheffieldeagle said:Hi

Could be upto 60 days but may only get notification by email when it has reduced so if you are not a person to check on the email daily may go unnoticedsheffieldeagle said:Hi

I cancelled Blue Rewards a few days before Sep 30th.
I got an email around 2nd Oct telling me that my Rainy Day account will become an everyday saver on Dec 2nd.
Been using the account as normal in the meantime (short term non-offset savings). Monday Dec 2nd the account will be emptied and moved elsewhere.
