K Rend not honoring the warranty

I am having an issue with K Rend not even remotely interested in honoring the warranty on our 5 flat apartment building.  It has become patchy and is eroding in parts of the building but not all of it. All instructions were followed at the time of the build that the local rep gave us and the K Rend rep herself said there is definitely a problem but she didn't know what it was so sent some pictures in to head office where they have decided that it is the substrate that is leaching salt.  The substrate is the same through out the building and the K rend has bonded with the substrate, the problem is from the outside in not the other way around.  They have been trying to fob me off from the first contact, I would like to know if anyone out there has had any luck with them in the past or if they have also given you the run around at all and what the outcome was?  Many thanks for your information in advance.

I can't answer your specific question, but normally in a dispute of this sort, expert opinion has to be sought to confirm that the cause is something that is covered by the warranty. 

As this is a building, you likely have buildings insurance and should have legal expenses cover as part of it. If you do, you can call the Legal helpline provided by your insurer. They may be able to pay for an expert investigation and report as part of your legal expenses cover. It would be normal to try to engage the warranty provider in the process so that they are happy with who the expert is.
