Kitchen Perfected Single Hot Plates & Induction Hob - not working

Hi all. Any advice on fixing? All good cosmetic condition just stopped working. Kept as trying to avoid landfill!
1. Had a single electric Kitchen Perfected hot plate. When the electric fuse tripped it stopped working. Changed fuse in the plug only. Didn't fix.
2. Bought another (same brand). Worked & then stopped getting hot. The light works. Nothing happened, just stopped. (Kept as spare, then used for a short time - out of warranty!)
3. In between I bought a double induction hob from Lidl. Worked well until 1 day I put an induction frying pan down to use, maybe a bit hard. Not hard enough to damage but after that stopped working. I know it has magnets inside but not sure what's happened. I changed the fuse in the plug. I could turn it on but when I turned up the heat, it would trip the kitchen fuse so something's not right...
Any advice?
