I now think I've completed the online probate firm incorrectly as I didn't fully understand the figure questions ie the gross estate amount. I thought it was the total estate amount but as there's an amount owing on a lifetime mortgage which is registered on land registry. I think I should have taken off this sum and put gross down then ? Can anyone advise as cant get hold of a person at hmrc...
Can I correct my mistake or do I have to start again?

The gross value includes all assets. Net value is assets less funeral costs and debts, so your gross value is correct.0

Gross is total value of assets, then take off loans, debts incl equity release (lifetime mortgage) to get net value0
