hi everyone
im looking for some guidance on following points.
i live in hospital accommodation [not attached to my job]
however i could possibly be finding myself out of a job, the rent is paid via my wages, however due to low income i did try to sign on which i did i should have got a small amount towards the rent, however my bills are included there, is no gas, i pay council tax again via rent,
they wont pay any rent because i cant get the bill breakdown any ideas?
just to add the nhs only lease these building the rent comes out of my wages.

Sorry to be a pain but your post is difficult to read, I suspect because you don't want to give away too much details, which I totally understand,
Your living in hospital accommodation - which isn’t attached to your job.
Your rent is taken from your wage - rent includes electric/gas and council tax,
Youve signed on? (I assume your claiming UC)
So your asking for help with the way you can breakdown your rent to show UC so they can provide the housing element of UC?Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

If all the accommodation is provided on the basis of rent being inclusive, it may be that there are not individual meters to allow a breakdown for each tenant.
If the buildinh is an HMO, one council charge is sent for the building then the landlord pays that.
The rent will take this into account but there will not be a separate charge for each tenant.

As described above then this seems to be a private rental. It isn't tied accomodation, it isn't Social Housing.
(It might be some other kind of 'special' accommodation?)If it's a private rental then bills being included in the rent doesn't matter anyway. The amount of benefit entitlement towards rent in a private rental will be the lower of your LHA entitlement or the actual rent.
Which in this case is going to be the LHA entitlement.
Whatever is included in a private rent is irrelevant to LHA, it only matters for Social Housing.
The confusion/problem that sometimes arises is because the Universal Credit application always asks everybody for a breakdown, even for a private rental when a breakdown isn't needed.
It's easier for them simply to ask everybody for one, whether it's needed or not.(The Decision Maker just ignores it for a private rental, but needs to take it into account for Social Rentals).Unless they have decided that this is some other kind of 'special' accommodation (and are refusing on those grounds and not simply because there is no breakdown) then you should be entitled to LHA rate help towards your rent.Who, or what. is it that has told you that they won't pay anything towards your rent without the breakdown?
If it's a decision in writing then exactly what does it say about why they won't pay?We need to know just where that refusal is coming from to advise how best to get past it.
