Morning everyone Coxy I moved just over three years ago my hubby won’t throw anything away but I was ruthless at getting rid of the stuff this is a bigger house and we couldn’t have fit the stuff in out of the old house we had numerous trips to the tip which included 3 big boxes of leads and wires which would of fit absolutely nothing we had but were for just in case I keep on top of him in this house that was the new rules and I’m sticking to them .Mehefin those clothes were beautiful I worked in a dry cleaners for years we probably would have had a look at them and maybe gently hand washed them I know we did a lot of christening gowns and wedding dresses over the years and I must admit the older clothes especially men’s suits were much better quality than they are now . TAFF I hope you’re cold clears up soon it’s dragging on it’s this rubbish weather although it’s a bit warmer today yesterday was freezing. I’ve just finished a cleaning job so I’m going to make a sandwich and a cuppa and then I’m going to give my kitchen a good clean I put a few things on Vinted yesterday and sold a couple of things so I will probably put another couple of things on later today when I get round to it jacket potatoes tonight with something just because it’s what I fancy . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them ha have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Mehefin, as you say the wedding dress has been altered a lot but the fabric looks to me as if it's from the twenties or early thirties so maybe mil reused her mother's dress.

It's my Esther day so I can't linger.

Quick message from me - I'm  at work. It's been a busy weekend with family and the Dutch contingent are still here for another few days.

It's been very foggy all day today and quite chilly too. I came to work on the bus as DS2 had borrowed the car to go to St Andrews for a meeting. He's on his way home now so will pick me up in a little while.
