Safenet Token Issue

Hi,
This is with IT where I work but I thought I'd be proactive in trying to attain a resolution.
To cut a log story short, I was to be terminated via a redundancy process but I was offered a new role after the termination date. Now IT is attempting to reverse the termination on the system.
When attempting to login the code my Safenet Token produces is erroneous. IT cannot seem to resolve this, they think it might be out of sync.
A few options have been proposed including a creating a new profile for me. However, is there any other issue that could be causing this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Surely the easiest thing is to just swap out the Token.
When I used to administer RAS tokens, I could speak to the user user, wait until the code came up for him and then manually enter it into the server which would re-sync it.0
