Gas & electric from same supplier but on single fuel tariffs

Hi, we've recently moved into a new property supplied by British Gas and we get both gas and electricity from them, but they have told me that they are unable to merge the accounts, so that I can benefit from a dual fuel tariff. I'm not sure whether to just switch to another supplier, or if the issue would persist - has anyone else experienced anything similar please?

I've never heard of this issue before.  Switch to a better/cheaper supplier an hope for the best.

Duel fuel not always the cheapest option, and it certainly isn’t if you can benefit from any of the smart tariffs available.

Did you ask for a reason?
