Convicted driver TT99, driving a DB7

I’m wondering if anyone has advice for the above. My previous insurance was 700 and now I’m being quoted 5k!

TT99 stays on your licence for 4 years since your conviction, so insurance will be expensive until then.  To get cheaper insurance you need to change to a car with much less power, which would cause minimal damage to a third party in the event of an accident.  I suggest a Citroen C3 or Peugeot 208.

Pack the Aston away for 6 years and learn to drive better. Your insurance is so high because there's a high risk that you're going to kill someone

Or if you have enough to run the Aston. Pay for the insurance.  Your actions have consequences
