I would rather they focused on their job than on being nice. I tried switching to them last month and provided my gas & elec meter readings, but it looks like they forgot to switch my gas. I'm now paying both Octopus and my old supplier the full dual fuel tariff.The girl at Octopus sounded lovely but was a complete airhead. No apology for their error. Infact she suggested that I had made the mistake and only switched my elec (and not gas). Fortunately I have the evidence for when this goes to the ombudman.

Octopus customer service dropped when they took over Bulb. Hopefully they're working to get it back again.
Their twitter team are usually on the ball if you have an issue.0 -
Hmmm... for us, it is debateable at the moment. We recently moved house and we carried with them as a supplier at the new home but also switched the old address to THEM as well! It has taken an era to sort out! But I will give them the benefit of the doubt as we are new.0
