BA Avios Prepaid MasterCard refund success

This card scheme run by Prepaid Financial Services lasted only about two years. In that time I was successful in getting two complaints resolved. The first rhe Ombidsman awarded £50 and rhe second I settled for £200. The first time the Omnidsman reversed a decision of a claims handler over the length of time and lack of explanation for a surcharge. See Mr L v Prepaid Financial Services on FOS decisions website. The second after making another complaint to FOS was offered £200 by PFS after they took three 3 weeks to credit a £1,000 top up giving no explanation for the delaynand leving me very short of funds. This second payment was made even after they had ceased running the BA Avios Prepaid Mastercard.
