Apologies, I completely forgot that I had posted this question.

Thank you for all of your suggestions, the money is now sitting comfortably in a savings account with an interest rate of 4.35%, which I am happy with. I know there are better rates out there, but the account I have chosen is a well known establishment (which I wanted), it has easy access and they have a branch local to me, so it's ideal
