Car accident 16 months on, feel lost

16 months ago I was hit by someone turning in the wrong lane out of a side lane hitting me passenger side, causing me to spin then to hit into trees.
The driver immediately admitted fault. I have record of all my injuries which have also prevented me from having treatments for genetic blood disorder.
Since this accident my life has been pretty crap, worse is the third party insurers have refused to pay out because they say I exaggerated my injuries despite being examined by a doctor they arranged and having medical evidence, CT scans, hospital admissions and doctors appointments.
They also love to send me letters requesting money which my solicitor has told them twice to stop doing as they have already received this payout from my own insurance.
I just feel so lost from here, I don’t think I’ll get any help. My solicitor isn’t much help and just says he will email when something relevant happens.
Is there any hope left, do I keep going with this or just forget about it?

I would say there is hope if your solictor thinks there is. You should ask them at what point they will recommend that you should sue the other insurance company. It's good to have an idea of how far away this is AND what specific trigger is the solictor waiting for.
What have you done to try to stop the letters coming? The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1 -

my solicitor is still disputing their claims and I have no current time frame.
He has just told me he has given them proof my insurance paid out for my car and the initial costs and told me just to forward any more correspondence from them to him (from third party insurance)
I think what stresses me most about this is that the driver admitted fault but her insurance turned the fault around on me somehow.0
