Any insurers count car sharing membership toward No Claims Discount?

Hello,

I have have not owned a car for 20 years but have been driving regularly since 2012 with car sharing company Zipcar, and before that with its predecessor Street Car.  Does anyone know of any car insurance companies that would count that clean driving history toward NCD?

I just purchased a car and was shocked by the premium quoted because of the lack of NCD.

Zipcar said they cam issue a letter to confirm i have not had any claims.

Could it just be that if haven't owned your own car for 20 years that are unaware of the price on insurance these days. Do a dummy quote with and without NCD and it might not actually be that different.

To answer your actual question, none that I know off and doubt it's a thing
