Temu order never delivered. Should I do a chargeback?

Hi

I made an order on Temu 2 weeks ago. I got an email saying its been delivered, but it hasnt. Evri sent me photo of the door they delivered it to. I have no idea where/whos door it is, but its certainly not my front door! Ive asked the neighbours etc, and cant track down my package.

I raised a ticket with Temu and they said 'After a thorough investigation we found that the corerct order was delivered to the correct address'. I raised 2 more tickets and exactly the same response.

Whats my next step? Ask my bank to do a chargeback?

Thanks

You can, but if Temu reject on the basis it has been delivered you will be redebited.

For chargeback, all a retailer has to do is prove delivery. Does not matter where...

What sort of money are you talking about?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I don't know where you live but in my area (West Sussex) EVRI has such a bad reputation (what happened in your case seems to be a daily occurrence here) that when I place an order for an item online whenever possible I ask the company to please NOT use EVRI as a courier.  This is not helpful to you now but I would suggest you do that when ordering in the future.

Different areas seem to be very different.  Here evri is fine never had a problem.  RM never really had a problem but nearly did when they chose to leave a parcel in my paper bin due for collection the next day, thankfully I was putting more in before putting the bin out & before I saw the note.  Amazon however seem to have a 30% chance of delivering to the right address.  Fine when there is a photo of the delivery door as I now know which door the photo belongs to & can rescue it from them usually before they find it.  For the ones that don't have a picture of the door well I have their customer service (in some foreign country) on speed dial.

It was £30.  I used a Mastercard Debit card.

So you will need to wait 30 days from date of transaction debiting before contacting bank for a chargeback.
