DB was in the march at The Cenotaph this morning, with the others awarded The Queen's Police Medal for distinguished service and gallantry. It is almost unbelievable that our police are unarmed.
It is our 45th wedding anniversary today.
A quiet day, but a pleasant week ahead with lunch at the college restaurant, a play by the local amateur group, and a craft morning with tea and cake at W.I.Fashion on the Ration 2026. Coupons used, 6 pairs of socks non-wool 6, 4 cotton vests 12, sleeveless wool cardigan 5, 2 pairs of summer weight cotton pyjamas 16. Total 39.
Grocery Challenge 2026, £5 a day for food for 2 pensioners. Total £1,825.
