I was quoted £750 for a new bathroom window installation of a first floor bathroom. Frosted glass, with two openings, one tilt and one side opening. Size of window is 85 x 85 cm. Curious to see if this is a normal price as its been years since I paid for new ones. Thanks

Would be a lot cheaper without the TBT, they have the most expensive window gearing. Why do you need two openers?

This is because we want to be able to open it fully in case it needs to be used as a fire escape as it opens onto a roof.
Do you think that has what has bumped up the price massively?

Not massively, but maybe by about £150?.

All construction materials, including PVC and glass, shot up in price post Covid and have not really gone back down again. Plus skilled labour is short partly due to Brexit.

If you have another room on the same floor that has a fire escape route/window you should be OK, bathrooms are not considered habitable rooms so no legal requirement for a fire escape window
