Does an cancelled car insurance 'holding claim' need to be disclosed ?

Hi all-
Long story short, last February I was driving down a road with double-parked cars and my wife said that I had clipped the wing mirror of a parked car. There was a noise but it may have been me driving over something. So, even though I was 99.9% sure I hadn't hit a car, as it was on her side of the car, I stopped and checked both my car and those parked. No damage visible anywhere.
However, to be what I saw as compliant, I notified my local police and also my insurance company. My insurance company said that I should open a claim that, were no third-party to come forward in six months, would be closed and removed. The insurance company said that it understood the situation and acknowledged that I was not making a claim, simply allowing a claim to be made against me if I had indeed clipped another car.
So, last week I contacted my insurance company and, after three separate 'live chats', finally agreed to close the claim. However, whilst the claim now shows on my portal as Closed, it also show as Settled.
What I don't want to happen is that this now shows as a claim on my policy. Logic says that it shouldn't since there was no claim, no damage, no third-party and no cost to the claim, but ...
My insurance company is Yoga, a faceless organisation who make it nigh on impossible to contact them. They use a company called One Call Insurance as their claims organisation. It was One Call who closed the claim but I am still awaiting a reply to my email seeking clarification. Plus, I never got the impression that its 'live chat' agents really understood the situation.
Any advice greatly appreciated. Should this be disclosed as a claim ?

Yes it should be disclosed
it should show as a claim closed and settled at £0 with no fault attachedIt will likely have been logged on CUE so other insurers would be aware.1 -

In your experience. Is this likely to increase my premium, or would it have no impact?0 -
