Anyone use Invest Engine? How do you find them?
Was going to open an ISA and transfer in an existing S&S ISA currently held with 212
I understand they only offer ETF's also.

I do. It is simpler than T212.1

Just seen this question someone asked Invest Engine recently! What is a TEX member and would this also affect transfers from T212 to other platforms ?

It's a system to transfer assets in specie between providers.Aidanmc said:Just seen this question someone asked Invest Engine recently! What is a TEX member and would this also affect transfers from T212 to other platforms ?

That link actually shows T212 being a member of TEX

I didn't like InvestEngine. They were somewhat economical with the truth with my ISA.
And to keep things balanced I didn't like T212 either, but that was mostly to do with their cluttered app and poor customer service.

They are really quite similar in many ways, having used both. What are your reasons for wanting to transfer from T212?Aidanmc said:Anyone use Invest Engine? It's getting harder and harder to do anything without a smartphone or tablet. Even some of my "boring" old savings accounts now want me to use their app to confirm that it's me logging in to their website on my PC rather than sending me an SMS. It's not a trend I particularly like but I'm certain it will become more common.Aidanmc said:I'm having trouble logging in to T212 since they brought in compulsory 2FA. Maybe consider buying a cheap phone or tablet just to keep at home for this purpose. You could view it as a one-off cost of investing. Or use iWeb, who are a good choice for many investments anyway. And their website is sensible and grown-up!
