Hi everyone,
TA and RR, I know just how you feel, I'll be heartbroken when the littlies move out.
It's Esben's birthday party today so I need to finish his cake. Luckily it's much simpler than the last two years ones. I already feel tired though after several nights of rubbish sleep. I think I'll have to try to have a nap.
Better go, lots to do, have a good day.

Morning everyone
Grey here too...I have a load of washing ready to go out, but I don't know if it's worth it.
Little one will be here later for a sleepover, so I might pop into town this morning to see if I can pick up a few things for Christmas. I have little ones present organised and my great nephew - they are our only two children and adults we just get a small something now...though I haven't started on those yet.
I'm also on the hunt for some Barbie doll clothes to go with the doll I have little one for her birthday which is only a week after Christmas...I've been looking on Ebay but they're so expensive. Probably because they're described as 'vintage' - another thing I wish I'd kept as my DDs had so many. I seem to buying all the same things twenty years later!
Little one has managed the last 3 mornings at school so hopefully will get back to full days next week.
Gers I loved your milk tin story x
Hope everyone has a good day x9 -
Good morning
Still grey and drear here, I have just hung two loads of washing out on the line, but think this is rather optimistic of me, we shall see.
I'm glad that I am not the only one who has trouble recalling the details of what I have read here, right now because it's all quite new to me I am also having trouble with your names, so apologies in advance if I muddle people up.
TK Maxx, I enjoy it but not quite so much as my ninety five year old mother, who absolutely adores it, when she is having a bad day I can nearly always cheer her up by dangling the thought of a TK Maxx browse in front of herIt is also going to get better for her at the end of November as a huge Home Bargains will be opening up next door to TKMaxx, with all this retail excitement I am thinking she will make it to getting her letter from the Queen!
Gers I too loved your milk tin story.
I am carrying on with my ebaying today, after this current lot of auctions end I might branch out into Vinted as well..........

Morning All
Like most of you another grey, drab day weather wise.
Really enjoyed my crochet lesson yesterday, met some new ladies as well. Small world as one on them went to the same school as me but a number of years after.
Apparently I'm a "critter" someone who crochets like a knitter lol
Have DD and DGC coming to dinner tomorrow plus 2 friends but not much else planned for the weekend
Hope everyone has a good one and hugs to all who want them

Morning all
Not raining here but not sunny either 😩 in fact it’s a bit cold, yesterday was freezing and when I took the dogs out I put my big winter coat on for the first time the wind was bitter ! I may light the log burner early today to keep the house warm.
OH is taking his mum to see his dad at lunch time so dd and I will walk the dogs and I want to pop into the range I bought some lavender sleep patches last week and they work very well I am a terrible sleeper most of the time and these tend to help me stay asleep so I will go and get a few more boxes.
Dinner tonight will be curry made by OH I hope he will make his Bombay potatoes too as they are very tasty so a night off cooking for me.
I might start to wrap some Birthday gifts today or tomorrow a job that I really dislike.
Have good days all and take care xx6 -

Gers said:Morning all - I made it into the shower, most reluctantly because the morning is cold. Last night I skipped it, not quite sure why, so it had to be now. Got a coffee in hand and starting my day.Probably because I was a tad bored (sorry to those who are run off their feet) I indulged in a little online shopping - a new bag, a new cookbook, a new pair of pyjamas for me and a couple of gift sets of dessert sauces for friends. These are made on Gigha, a small island which is run for the community by the community. Their herd of cows give the most delicious milk and the farmer uses it to make ice-cream and now added in dessert sauces (not made of milk!). A bit of money juggling was also done.4
