So very proud of my wife for managing to get a job offer today! One which is perfect - decent hours, decent pay, small, stress free commute, 2 days from home - very well done 😊.
After a brief chat we agreed to some of the bills being shared, meaning a healthy few hundred of my own income can be diverted towards the cards. This is going to start to snowball quickly. Bring on payday!

Thank you
. Managed to get a good few surveys done the last couple days, but seemed quite dry today. It's not a fortune but honestly, every little helps!

Oh my goodness me... Hopefully I'm not jynxing anything here (as I've not had a text or email confirmation yet), and hopefully it is legit..
I was scrolling Clearscore on my phone just having a nosey over everything and noticed a better-than-usual "offer" for a balance transfer card. Given what I've said on the forum recently it's quite ironic actually, but I've just applied for a Barclaycard Platinum 30 month 0% Balance Transfer card having said I was "pre approved". Now I know that phrase doesn't carry much weight but I felt it didn't really hurt given my current situation. Well, I asked for a £3,400 limit and it came back accepted with a £5,600 limit, all the limit I need.
As I say, I really really hope this is legit, no confirmation emails or texts make me think maybe it was an error, otherwise if it's true it's just improved my debt repayment outlook massively. 30 months without paying a penny in interest (though a 3.45% fee) is huge. The interest on my two cards are currently somewhere in the region of £130 a month combined, if not more. With such a long 0% period, I can really focus on the two loans instead and get those shifted, and 'return' to the Barclaycard to finish the rest (needless to say, paying at least the minimum in the mean time).
Wish me luck, this could be a golden ticket.Debt @ LBM 01/11/24 - £14,161.59Debt current - £10,845.80

Got confirmation email this morning! Chuffed to bits with that, can finally get rid of those high interest jobbies. Amazed I got accepted to be honest, not the best credit history, certainly not for a decent card, but there we are. I wonder if it has anything to do with my name being on a company credit card which is also Barclaycard?
I did read a good amount of th. T&Cs, but didn't see whether or not I could transfer two balances. The Zopa card was originally a BT card and I was able to transfer from two cards, but I got caught out by putting a spending balance on there, then Zopa prioritising repayments toward the spending balance, which meant the original BT took a while to reduce. Shalln't be making that mistake again anyway. Either way, even if I can only BT one card, it's a huge help. I almost want to say thank you.Debt @ LBM 01/11/24 - £14,161.59Debt current - £10,845.80
