Is there any more advice available. My ex got a solicitor in March this year and letters were sent out to the brother asking for statements of all the closed accounts (if which there were 3) last correspondence in May he said he had only managed to get statements for 1 and would continue to try. It then transpired he had lied when he said he had applied for probate and he did this eventually at the beggining of this year which was over 12 months since last parent passed. The solicitor just literally told my ex to put some money into an account and they would just keep taking out any costs for letters. He has no correspondence since May, brother is still living in the house and nothing seems to be happening and he already spent £2000. I did research and something called TOLATO is a possibility. Is there any other route he can take to make brother give the information needed.
