Returning to work, universal credit and pip and pensions

Options
Back working after a long career break. Really need advice on several aspects please? Let me know what info is required to advise me? I’m over 50 earning just over nmw disabled and in receipt of Uc and pip and think maybe sipp/pension contributions affect things? But I am basically clueless and want to educate myself

PIP is not means tested so continues unaffected.

UC is means tested, and is affected by net earnings.

Sipp contributions should be accounted for by UC, but can be difficult to get the correct treatment - there are a number of threads on this topic here. It's easier when pension contributions are made through payroll and reflected in the PAYE info received by UC.

Use a benefit calculator for UC - https://www.gov.uk/benefits-calculators
