Issues with student loan

Our daughter has applied for a student loan for her PGCE. She previously worked in South Korea for two years (22-24), teaching English at a private school. Student Finance has stated that she needs to prove her work abroad was temporary, which it was. She has already sent a letter explaining this, but they have requested further evidence. This process has been ongoing since June 2024. She has started her course and committed to accommodation but hasn’t received any student finance yet. Has anyone else experienced this issue?  She is going round in circles with SF and a couple of advisors have said ‘we don’t understand why it’s held up’.  She has put in a formal complaint but in the mean time rent and university needs to be paid.   Would really appreciate any help/advice. Evidence would be a fixed term contract/ temporary visa etc

Hi thanks for reply.  She has sent in her contracts - first year then signed again for one more year.   The visa was a card which had to be handed in when she left Korea.    We have contacted the embassy but can’t send a copy!

She also keep her bank account in the Uk as knew she would be returning and registered at our home address.
