Euro Car Parks DCB Legal claim

Hi just an update.
I put my defence in on 21st November. Last week received the letter acknowledgement from the CNBC dated 26th. On the same day received a letter from DCB Legal dated 28th (below) saying they will still proceed and to expect questionnaires, including a copy of theirs. I am guessing I just wait for mine to arrive now?

Yes. Standard intimidation letter from DCB. It's mentioned in the sticky guide.

You don't need to guess. All the first letters are in the first 12 steps (in the Template Defence), including what to say at Mediation phone call stage.
And every 'new' question in the N180 DQ is fully covered in the NEWBIES thread.
You'll only need our help again at WS stage in the Spring.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just a quick update on this. At the end of Jan had the mediation call where I refused to pay anything as advised. They made mention that I had been given the opportunity to pay a £20 fee previously. But I refuse to pay anything for an error on the app with my registration.
Just before the mediation, maybe a couple of days, I had a direct call from DCB Legal which I did not take. It was an automated message when I picked up so hung up. Yesterday again the same number called and I did not answer. It doesn't seem right they should phone me directly? I cant see anywhere on the forum for what to do about phone calls. Can anyone advise? Should I just ignore it?1 -
Just ignore the phone calls, everything in writing
Await your court order from your local civil court2 -

They always try lots of calls before and certainly after mediation, to try to (we say) 'dupe' people into settling. They WILL discontinue.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you, I will just ignore them then!

Yesterday I received my court hearing letter. The deadline is 28th April to send my evidence and witness statement.
The evidence I have are photos of the signage taken a month after the fine (the event was 29th April 2021!) they now have different signage I think.
The small print on the sign says nothing of keying errors or problems with the PaybyPhone app. The issue being the wrong car registration was selected due to error in the app(i believe) I cant understand choosing it myself incorrectly. I have screenshots of my parking history showing previous weeks paying for the car in question and then the incorrect reg on that one date. I cant now access my history on the account before 2023 as it was so long ago.
I also notice that the original fine letter just has images of the number plate on entry and exit, not the car or carpark is featured. Is this helpful evidence as it doesn't actually show the car in the car park?
The letter says that the claimant must pay the court fee by 28th April or it will be struck out. So I wonder if this will actually go to court. Do I need to complete the statement and evidence asap or should I wait a while to see what happens? Or are they likely to leave it till the last minute?
Any advice from your vast experience would be helpful. I have read a lot of posts today but not sure what to do!

I'd just sit tight. Your deadline is 13th May.
It sounds like one of the Manchester judges that is not a fan of parking companies 😉
Ring the court on April 29th and ask if they've paid the hearing fee.3 -

Ring the court on April 29th and ask if they've paid the hearing fee.
Page 3 of the letter says the documents are to be supplied to all parties and the court by 28th April. No mention of May other than the hearing date.
