A S&S ISA should be viewed as a medium to long term investment.

You need to be a bit more specific as to what you shares you have actually invested in.

If daily price moves worry you you should not be in the stock market.

From your post I assume you have a fund from Abrdn rather than actually buying Abderdeen shares. If that's the case then no you don't need to worry, in the same way that you don't need to worry if the Tesco share price goes down if you shop there.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

A separate issue from your primary concern, but how much are you paying for your Skipton S&S ISA?  Their website doesn't appear to have any readily accessible data about fees and charges, which is something of a red flag....

There is no link between Fidelity and Abrdn.

Assuming you mean one of them is the platform and the other is the fund house (which way around doesnt matter) then no, share prices of the company are not a concern to you unless you hold shares in that company.  And Standard Life (in all name versions) has always being volatile.

The website doesn’t show details but when you see the financial adviser, they produce a report for you…no charge unless you act on their advice..and they give you full details of the charges they make..

I note that you've carefully avoided answering the question about what the charges are!

But even though Skipton choose to use the Fidelity platform, how much choice do you have over the actual investments, i.e. are you forced to use Abrdn products?

I think you can only have an S&S ISA with Skipton, if you use their advisor services .
So presumably the advisor has chosen the investments

I  do not think you need to worry about the Abrdn share price
Abrdn My Folio Index, looks to be Multi Asset., tracking the MSCI World Index.

If you watch this video, it might put your mind at rest.  https://www.kroijer.com/

Could you tell us the share/bond split that was chosen and the fees /charges you are paying.

I don’t suppose I am forced..you discuss things with the financial adviser and they make a recommendation based on your discussion…I should call in to see him and ask the question…thank you
