Can’t get into online banking without Face ID RBS

So a few months back my Apple pay stopped winding. After my phone was stolen and I had the app on it I decided to keep the app on in my house. Reason is I have heard of people losing money if people access there bank. So I usually log in on the desktop website. Now I can’t log in asks for Face ID only available on the app. I stopped doing my current account banking with RBS but I am considering moving my savings. For some reason there’s restrictions on my Apple Pay. My bills and mortgage still come off so I may keep that for now. I tired my other bank and I could get in but they only do savings pots to a max of 5 thousand so wondering if I need another current account I can get good interest on? Perhaps when I remortgage I may need to change it all?
I have a current account where my wages go and a Foundation joint account with bills would the joint account be included in any current account switch offers for £200 to join?

My alternative is I put a smaller savings in another account so I have access to that instead? Reinstall RBS if I really have to need it in emergency?0

I'm not clear what you're asking about in your first post as it covers several points and questions.
But re your savings question (your new other thread about Savings just reads "edited post" so I'm not clear what that's about either) you don't need another current account for savings.
Just open a savings account, with any bank. There are loads to choose from and they don't need to be one of your current ones. Try here for some guidance: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-accounts-best-interest/0 -
So it won’t let me into rbs website without Face ID meaning you need the app? They refuse to give a reason why.0

I wonder if banks don’t like this as it’s large payments? I spent two years converting my dvd collection to digital. Just trying to think why they would restrict my Apple Pay.I mean don’t lots of jobs offer employee discounts these days?0
