hi there
i reserved the property of 2 bedroom in fielders quarter in 2021 and got key in 2022 june. when i came to reserve the property bellway sales team told me that parking is only available for 3 and 4 bedroom property.
around 6 months ago i found out that my next door neighbour got parking and his got 2 bedroom apt. i spoke with him and managed to get document that when he reserved the property.
i reserved the property in march and he did it in june after 4 months.
contact bellway regarding this and they are strictly talking nonsense.
is there anyway i can take legal action against them?
please refer good solicitor if you know.
thanks

it depends - did the contract you sign with them say you had parking as part of that contract?1

Sounds like he negotiated it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What is the "nonsense" that Bellway are "strictly talking"?Did you ask if there was any option for reserving parking spaces when you were negotiating your purchase?Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1

Maybe he told them he was going to pull out of the sale unless they gave him a parking space.
Either way, you either have a space or you don't. It'll be in your lease. What any other flat has or doesn't have is of no relevance.Show us what the signage says. Is there a permit system?1 -
You could get free legal advice if you are lucky in your area:
https://www.lawworks.org.uk/legal-advice-individuals/find-legal-advice-clinic-near-you
I also know about 'LawStop'. It runs free law advice clinics (housing issues are a specialism) in London & Brighton. Google them. Might be the same thing as LawWorks, not sure.
And your local University law faculty may well run free legal advice clinics next term, through to the Spring. These involve final year law students overseen by solicitors & barristers.
DON'T ask them about the Moorside letters though because we are best at that, and parking case defences are a niche area we do every day here. Stick with us re the court claim that you'll get.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
