CCJ

I have ignored Euro Car Parks and DCBLegal at every step/stage.. Have not engaged at any point, thinking this was the correct course of action.

However, at a point now where, I'm looking for a steer around next steps after receiving the attached.

Please advise.. Thanks in advance.

You ignored the court claim? Thats the point where you stop ignoring.

I see you have no option here but to pay it in the next nine days, unless you want to perjure yourself by trying to get it set aside claiming you didnt receive anything.

If you received and ignored correspondence from the court about a claim being lodged against you then you need to pay it before it becomes a permanent mark on your credit report.

If this is the first you have heard about a county court claim then you need to look at the threads regarding applying for a set aside.  Is there any chance that correspondence from the court might have been sent to an old address?

Yes, it was ignored also.. As frankly it did not look real.. It appeared as just another dodgy looking template that these companies create to scare etc..

It looked like something knocked up by a teenager on their laptop.. Printing was faded, borders not aligned, no indentation on paper, where stamp was.. Just didn't look real/genuine in the slightest.. Only now appreciate, I've made a right horlicks, by binning it.

In short, yes.. Sorry can't recall the specifics, and have since binned it, but yeah, can only assume it was from the sender you outline.

Nothing around past address unfortunately, all correspondence has only ever been received at my current and correct address.

How confident would you be of DCBLegal having the CCJ removed if they were paid within the next 8/9 days..?

Fear is that I pay them, and they do nothing etc..

Definitely, that was an official document from an official government office in Northampton

Binning it has now cost you over £312

Pay that judgment amount to the lawyers ASAP to avoid the CCJ hitting your credit record, in full

You should have come here for advice when that form arrived, or logged into MCOL to see if it was real

The government are always complaining about not having any money so the poor quality paper is just one of those problems about using up old stock

Well it is your right to have it removed if you pay the CCJ within one month of the judgement.

If you are pessimistic that DCB will bother notifying the court to remove it, you're free to notify the court yourself with proof of payment.
