Hi everyone
All the food I freeze keeps getting freezer burn really quickly. As I am aware this reduces nutrition in the food I am considering buying a vacuum sealer. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this, whether they thought it was worth it, and what type they bought.

Thank you in advance.

I often vac pack food for the freezer.  I buy sous vide/vacuum sealer rolls rather than bags so can make them to the size needed.

The sealer can also be used to seal the big bags of rice if you buy those.

We do sous vide and sometimes bulk cook in that and then freeze at that stage so they are still in their vac pack and once defrosted its a quick sear and serve.

Buy rolls of bag material and so can make them to size.

I would contest that freezer burn reduces nutritional value though. Can't see how it would as it is effectively dehydration so impacts look/texture but thats all

    I just use regular bags.

I don't tend to get freezer burn but because I usually have too much stuff in the freezer I'm always sure to squish out any excess air in a bag.  The thicker bags work well and I've I'm really concerned I'll not depend on a bag that is self sealing in any way but will add one of those plastic clips to ensure nothing can leak in/out.
