Experian has locked my credit score without my permission

Experian collate and disseminate information about your credit history - eg what open credit cards / loans / accounts you have open and your history of payments. Banks and card issuers buy this info which they analyse using their own criteria determine whether to give you a credit card. Experian also analyse this info to come up with a "score".Lovedogs12 said:

If lenders don’t get to see this credit score or report or whatever, why are two lenders telling me that this is the problem?! Experian themselves have confirmed this issue also? I have a copy of own report which shows no anomalies whatsoever. This is what I assume the lenders are referring to so therefore they must access this info in some form. Otherwise what is the point of Experian??
The point people are making is that the analysis may not be consistent and so what Experian calls 'excellent' may be interpreted differently by the card issuer.0 -
make sure you haven’t accidentally locked your credit report.
