Charges

I am looking for some help , I have lived in my overdraft since probably 2009 , have always had bank charges and direct debits going unpaid charges too . So turned to credit cards ran them up trying to get through , eventually got on to payment plans to try to clear them . Ten or so years on still paying the payment plans to clear the cards , I managed to get accepted for another two cards as we were struggling and it seemed like the only way . I am now back in the same situation again , paying in £200 a month and £150 of that is just covering the interest! And that’s just one card . Is there any way I can claim any of the charges back from the bank and credit card charges? Think if I got anything it might help clear some of the debt . Any help is appreciated, thanks

Why would charges be refunded? They were part of the Ts&Cs you accepted when opening the bank and credit card accounts.

Please go to the Debt Free Wannabe pages - there is a community of helpful people who can help you look at maximising paying debts off and speeding things up. You will likely need to post a Statement of Affairs - income/outgoings which you can do by completing a form via a link on that forumSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
