Nationwide switch incentive - direct debits

I have a 'dummy' bank account that I want to switch to Nationwide to get the £175 switch bonus. It's saying I need to have 'two active direct debits'. Does this mean that the direct debits have to have left my account at least once before I do the switch? I've just moved the direct debits from my main account to the dummy account, one of the DDs isn't due to be taken until the very end of the month and I was hoping to apply for the switch this week.
Thanks

It just means you need to have 2 DDs set up. I did similar thing to you, had a dummy account that I wanted to switch so I just added DDs that don't get used very often (I think it was ebay/paypal or something similar). No DD payment was ever taken from the dummy account, I switched the account to Nationwide, got the reward and then cancelled the DD and set them up again on the original account.
