Bay Sentry / dcbl collections Parking Charge

Paid on arrival for a parking ticket instead of on exit this was at bay sentry parking, was given a PCN for going over time. Paid £5 on arrival however should have paid £7 upon exiting the car park.  Appealed via bay sentry unsuccessfully then via POPLA on the grounds the signage is inadequate and damaged and terms and conditions are not listed anywhere at the car park. unsuccessfully. No correspondence until 10 months later I have received a letter demanding £170 from dcbl debt recovery also states on letter this case is not subject to high court or bailiff action. any advice on what action to take thanks

What happened when you actioned Plan A, a complaint from the keeper to the landowner and the keeper's MP?

Debt collectors are powerless and can safely be ignored as explained in the fourth post of the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES.

Do not ignore a Letter of/before Claim, or a court claim.

Plan A is in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum, its the first action anyone should take when a PCN is received

    Your appeal was plan B

The Popla appeal was plan C

Now you are left with plans A, and D. ( D is court. )

    Ignore the debt collectors letters

All of which is covered in the NEWBIES thread.

Obviously ignore the debt collectors.  You know that from reading the fourth post of NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST (at the top of the forum thread list) before you posted.

Please post the POPLA Decision in POPLA DECISIONS, also at the top of the forum.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The Citi park website has a form you can fill in

    https://citipark.co.uk/contact

Your Popla claimant evidence pack should have contained the landowner contract, signs etc

Your defence is almost all written for you already in the defence template thread by coupon mad in announcements , everyone has a defence

Court is judge Bingo, you may win based on the facts and evidence, or you may lose, only the judge can say, we try to assist based on facts and evidence, not predictions or assumptions

CitiPark are a parking firm.  What makes you think they are the site landowner?  They won't help anyone.

Just defend it if you get a court claim!

Dead easy. Read some current threads about Bay Sentry claims filed by DCB Legal. We have several.  Nobody has paid.

Respond if you get a DCB Legal LBC but this is already covered in the NEWBIES thread, so that needs no explanation.

Do nothing else unless you move house (and it's obvious what needs doing if you do, so I'm not going into that common sense detail).

Have finally received this, I think I have a defence ready to send, I have used one from template. Is it still okay to send via the email stated for claimresponses.cnbc@justice.gov.uk
Also is it worth stating in my defence I would offer to pay the difference in parking fare (couple of £) to settle the claim?
