Confused.com reward on cancelled policy

I took out car insurance the day before fully intending to collect a car. The sale did not go through and I rang to cancel the policy later on in the afternoon (on the day the policy started). I'm surprised to get an email telling me I've got a £20 Sainsbury's voucher - I was expecting the reward to fail.
The Confused terms states that the reward is not payable if the insurance is cancelled within the cancellation period. It doesn't refer to a policy being cancelled within the 14 day cooling off period.
Should I claim the reward?

Even though you're within the 14 day cooling off period you can still expect to pay a cancellation fee and one day's insurance, which isn't necessarily 1/365 of the annual premium.0
