Mobility firm gone into liquidation

Less than a year ago I purchased a new mobility scooter on line from a company in England who have gone into liquidation and are not replying to my emails.
The scooter has developed a fault, quite an expensive one, and a local trader has declined to repair trade to repair it under warranty.
C\n someone advise me how to proceed please?f

Did you pay by credit card by any chance? This would probably give you rights against the card company....0

This is your only route to a resolution, I'm afraid. Otherwise you'll have to weigh up the cost of fixing it versus selling it for spares/repair and putting the proceeds towards a new one.eskbanker said:Did you pay by credit card by any chance? Claim from card issuer or a bank?
Failing that get someone mechanically minded to look at it, the parts are often cheap if you avoid the overpriced retailers and
buy direct. Mostly Chinese motors and controllers etc. ie a controller board thats £400+ retail may only be £60 - £80 but will
take a 7 - 20 days to arrive and probably an hours labour to fit.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Is this the seller of the scooter that has gone bust or the actual manufacture of the scooter?
What sort of warranty did the scooter have?Life in the slow lane0 -
