Sold my car to Arnold Clark - no receipt/paperwork from that

Hi,
I’m wondering if I’ve made a big error.
I’m wondering if I’ve made a big error.
I arranged to sell my old car directly to Arnold Clark via their Sell My Car web page. The price quoted was what I was offered post-appraisal at my local dealership. Their appraisal was really quite short and not in depth but they agreed to buy it at the price quoted online.
I haven’t yet been paid but am still within the three working days that they say they take to process my equity payment. They say five working days to pay the finance off.
In the dealership after the appraisal I signed the sale contract form after checking the figures were all correct. But then I was told that’s it and I could go, handed over all keys and paperwork and left.
I’ve actually got no proof I sold the car to them! No proof of the agreed price. I am kicking myself as I didn’t take a photo of the contract at all. I signed it and the salesman took it and then that was that.
I have checked the DVLA website and the car now has no tax on it (it was taxed but as it was an EV there was no tax refund due to me) but this suggests they have accepted it into trade… but beyond that I have nothing paperwork wise.
Am I worrying over nothing? I really hope they are going to pay me as I have zero documentation showing amounts!
