Natural Migration UC

We might be moving local authorities, and we're aware this will trigger a natural migration to UC from ESA.
We're a bit worried about the ID side of things given the fact we'll be moving house and have little paperwork with new address in the first instance, as with any move it takes a while for paperwork to come through. I hold a bank account but my partner doesn't.
Any advice would be helpful.

Your new Tenancy Agreement can serve as proof of Address, and the Jobcentre will understand that your other documents may take a little while to “catch up” if you get me.

Will you be renting from a social landlord, like a council or housing association? If so, you don’t normally need to show proof of that (as it’s verified directly with the landlord) but your TA or any letter they issue about your rent account etc will serve as a form of secondary ID.

housing rent goes through a verification process with the Housing Association, so you just report the change and UC will verify the new housing information.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.
